Erasmus+ a výměnné pobyty

My experience in the Czech Republic

Last month, my friend Ari and I arrived in the Czech Republic. We stayed with our host families, me in a small village called Janovice and Ariadna in Kunčice pod Ondřejníkem. We stayed there for 4 weeks from the 2nd September to the 3rd October as exchange students.

The place was beautiful, very green and there weren't many people there. I liked their food so much. We also went to other parts around. Once I went with Adelka and her family to Skanzen in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm and I really liked it. It was so beautiful. On the 12th September we went on a familiar trip to Štramberk and I went to the castle. Later in the evening, we visited Adelka's grandparents and we ate there. I finished so tired that day.

On the 13th I visited Frydek-Mistek's historical museum but I didn't spend very much time there. On the 17th we met Ari and Veronika for the first time in a bowling place of Frydek-Mistek and we had so much fun. On the 18th we went to Frydek-Mistek again to Veronika's dance class and the place was so beautiful like living in a movie.

On the 19th I went with Adelka and her friend to hike in Pustevny. We walked for 3 hours and ate there. On the 20th we visited Hukvaldy's Castle and we also walked for a long time.

On the 23rd September I went with Adelka to Ostrava's shopping centre called Nová Karolína and I bought some things and we drank a coffee in Starbucks.

On the 24th Ari and I went with one class to Příbor to Sigmund Freud´s museum for 2 hours and we learnt so many things about his life. On the 26th we went on a familiar trip to Ostrava's zoo and I saw many animals that aren't in Spain. It was too big and I finished so tired but I loved it. I saw elephants for the first time, hippos, many birds, crocodiles and more. On my last trip of the 29th September, we went on a school trip to Vila Grossmann in Ostrava and I learnt so many things about architecture.

The local people were very friendly and helpful, more than in Spain. In my opinion, it was such an interesting and unforgettable experience and I would like to repeat it again. I hope to see those wonderful people again.
